Life after Harry

I tried, I really did, to take my time in reading the last Harry Potter. It worked semi-successfully the first night when I determined ahead of time that I would only read 100 pages on Friday night/Sat morning (okay okay, so this number was originally 3 chapters but turned into 100 pages later..) After that, however, I couldn't stop.

And now it's over. I feel a little empty. I knew it would be weird once it was over, but I didn't expect to feel so sad about it. Speaking of sad, I actually cried while reading a certain chapter (I won't say which for people who haven't finished yet), which is strange because I rarely cry in general, but what can I say? I heart these books.

Some images collected from the news, flickr and my camera in Harvard in the whole Deathly Hallows release hysteria:

Harvard Square masses:

Part of the line at the Coop where I waited for my book (found this image on Flickr, but I was actually probably just a little to the left of where this was taken):

And me and my line buddy -- success after waiting in a crushing, sweaty mob for 2.5 hours.

And since you can't see my shirt in that picture, and I'd hate for you to miss the awesomeness of it:
